“I think I’d sooner write short stories than novels. I like the sense of completing something.”
– PG Wodehouse
The Short Story
Writing a short story is a wonderfully intricate process; we make countless creative decisions in the course of telling a single tale. During these two days, we'll explore the most vital creative decisions and find what works for you as a storyteller.
We'll answer:
> Which stories most need to be told?
> How are stories structured?
> How do we create compelling characters?
> How much plot does a given story need?
> How do we rewrite stories successfully?
In this workshop you will write. Expand your writing strengths. Learn new techniques. Receive positive, professional feedback on your writing. And leave with one completed story.
Beginners and non-native speakers of English welcome.
