“I very much enjoyed all aspects of the workshop. Hearing my story read aloud and being able to gauge the reactions of the listeners was very helpful—and gratifying. I found the writing exercises and handouts very useful too, I learned a lot. I also found it interesting to learn about and use different “voices” and approaches to humor writing. By trying different options, I learned which I like best, which I’m best at, and how to apply different voices to reach different audiences. I think my stories will benefit from everything I learned at the workshop and I thank you very much for teaching me what I needed to know.”
