“Before the workshop, I had no idea about all the different forms of food writing. It was encouraging to discover that I’m not ‘forced’ to write blogs or cookbooks (two forms I don’t particularly feel drawn to), but that there is a host of ways I can write about my favourite subject.

It’s a nice and comforting feeling to be in a room of strangers with whom you already know that you share a common interest. This is particularly true for an introvert who usually shirks away from such things! There was an instant sense of community in the room.”

I really enjoy the instructor’s teaching style, which is very engaging. Being around someone who is so passionate and knowledgeable about reading and writing is certainly contagious. You don’t just learn at the workshops, you walk away feeling inspired, renewed, and ready to start writing.”
